Lincoln Tan is a Co-Founder of Chow Luck Club

Lincoln Tan is an award-winning journalist who worked with the New Zealand Herald from 2005 to December 2024, as a senior diversity journalist. He wrote for its news sections and contributed to its print magazine titles including Viva, Travel and Canvas.

He co-founded Chow Luck Club with Bee Koh in 2021 and his personal blog Lincoln’s Table has now expanded into a full digital publication chowluckclub.com, which he edits and oversees.

Originally from Singapore, Lincoln’s background besides journalism includes event management and event hosting. A keen foodie, he is always ready to embrace, explore, and discover eateries and restaurants around town, getting scoops on the best things to eat around the city.

Lincoln’s involvement with the hospitality scene also includes working for a tour and travel company when he first moved from Singapore in 1997, co-owning and operating a restaurant and bar in Ponsonby, setting up Christchurch’s first Asian food court, and managing a resort hotel in Methven.
