Shontelle Cotter


Shontelle joined Hospitality New Zealand back in 2013 as an Administration Assistant. From here she has also held the positions of Member Services Co-ordinator, Training and Events Co-ordinator and Business Services Manager before taking on the role of Executive Assistant in 2024.

Prior to this she completed her cookery certificates and gained hands-on experience working across a range of hospitality businesses. She also holds a Diploma in Xero and Xero Advisor Certification and dabbles in finance and operations based work on the side.

Outside of work, Shontelle enjoys winding down with a good book and the company of her two bulldogs, Nugget and Bean. A passionate baker, she loves experimenting in the kitchen (which her husband has no complaints about!), and has a range of hobbies including gaming, archery and lifting heavy things at the gym.
